Morris Plains mourns the loss of a beloved
retired officer.  Martin "Mickey" Callahan
died on February 12, 2009. After a long
struggle with illness, Mickey is at Peace.
His co-workers and the town are much less for the
loss but much better for knowing him. We will
always remember his love of life, quick smile and
willingness to help with anything at anytime. Our
thoughts and prayers go out to his family and
friends. We will miss you!

Power Outages
The police communications desk receives numerous calls from residents about power loss. The police department cannot restore your power. If you lose power you are urged to call 1-800-544-4877 (1-800-LIGHTSS)and report the outage to JCP&L. We also recommend you select the option to be notified via telephone callback when your power is restored. Reporting your power outage to JCP&L is the fastest way to document your outage. JCP&L states that when homeowners report their outages directly to JCP&L it allows them to pinpoint the problem in a more expeditious manner.

If you see wires down or other hazards please call 9-1-1
