Armed robbers hold up Parsippany store, leave clerk tied up

Police are searching for two men who robbed the Game Stop store on Route 46 in Parsippany on Thursday night and left the clerk bound in a back stock room, authorities said.

The victim told police the robbers, both in their 20s, brandished a handgun when they entered the store. They stole $500 in cash and about $4,500 in merchandise before fleeing, police said.

One suspect was described as 6-feet tall with a medium build and wearing sweatpants, work boots and a dark green hooded three-quarters length coat.

The second suspect is believed to be about 5-foot, 10-inches tall, medium build with short dark colored facial hair and wearing a white baseball hat, sweatpants, work boots and a dark colored hooded three-quarters length coat.

Anyone with information regarding the incident should contact Parsippany Police at (973) 263-4300 or Morris County Sheriff's Crime Stoppers at (973) COP-CALL. Callers could receive up to $1,000 cash for information leading to an arrest or indictment, authorities said.
